Student Software Developer at Bath Spa University.
I am a Creative Computing student, with a specialism in software development, currently completing the third year of my degree at Bath Spa University. My main interest is developing scripts and small applications in Python, both out of curiosity and for the purposes of personal development. I am always keen to learn new technologies and am confident in applying myself to pick up these new languages and technologies in a short amount of time. I also like experimenting with the physical side of computing; working with raspberry pi's and arduino's. Outside of programming and computing in general, I like to play piano and guitar, and also have a strong passion for the outdoors; as I enjoy being around animals and nature in general!
This site acts as a platform for me to display some of the projects I have done. It is a constant work in progress so please feel free to keep coming back to see what changes I have made!
A sample company website made for a fictitious manufacturing company. Made using HTML, CSS, Bootstrap, PHP, AJAX and MySQL.
An experiment with HTML5 canvas in order to make an 'interactive surface' as part of a university project.
A simple, minimalistic game made using the open source C++ toolkit openFrameworks. The game features simple one click interaction and requires the user to follow the leader!
A simple music visualiser made using Processing. Takes an mp3 file as input and outputs the left and right audio channels as bars on the screen.
An interactive pie chart made in Processing showing how energy consumption has changed in the UK between the decades 1970 and 2010.
This website was created by myself using basic front-end web technologies such as HTML, CSS, Bootstrap, and JS. I also confiigured and host the web server.
